Biography
Alyssa Alexander was born and raised in Jersey County, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a double major in Political Science and Communication. Ms. Alexander then attended the SIU School of Law receiving her Juris Doctor.
During law school, she worked as a research assistant, focusing her research on federal civil procedure and family law matters. Additionally, Ms. Alexander had the opportunity to work as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Kenneth R. Deihl in Macoupin County, IL and the Honorable Chief Judge Nancy J. Rosenstengel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
In her final year of law school, she became a law clerk at The Gori Law Firm. As a clerk, Ms. Alexander learned the complexities of asbestos litigation and assisted the firm in researching many legal topics that spanned jurisdictions across the nation. As an attorney, she continues to research, aid clients during the litigation process, and works in lien resolution.
Ms. Alexander lost her mother to cancer during her junior year in college, which influenced her decision to attend law school to be a passionate advocate for individuals and their families that the firm represents.
