Edwardsville, Ill., Mar. 2, 2020 – The Gori Law Firm recently announced that Patrick Moroney has joined the firm as an attorney. Moroney will be working in the New York office of The Gori Law Firm.
Patrick J. Moroney graduated from the City University of New York (CUNY) – Queens College with a B.S. in Political Science in 2008. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2015. Since being admitted to the bar, Moroney has worked tirelessly to obtain millions of dollars of settlements on behalf of his clients who have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma and Lung Cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. To date, he has actively participated and assisted in the prosecution of dozens of asbestos cases by conducting plaintiff’s depositions, appearing at court hearings, arguing motions as well as participating in various conferences with judges and defense counsel. In the years prior to joining the bar, Moroney worked in the asbestos industry as a litigation paralegal while attending law school as an evening student.
